In October, 2025 we took a little trip up the coast. We’d gone to a taping of a tv show, which I signed an NDA promising not to talk about so I can’t talk about it. After that, we headed out to Highway 1 to journey up the coast.

Historically, we’ve never been museum people, but on this trip we changed our stance and enjoyed four nice ones.
We spent nights in a really wide variety of places on this trip. They fell into the categories below, except for one location in Lincoln, NE at an event center, and the first night out at an RV park in Winnemucca.

Sioux Falls They aren’t kidding about waterfalls in Sioux Falls! The falls there are lovely and pretty much right in town. There’s a nice park surrounding them, with a visitor center, walking paths and a restaurant. Lots of people were out enjoying all this.
Last stop on the trip was Diamond Lake in Oregon. We went there in hopes of a first-come-first-served campsite. If we got a nice one, we would stay two nights. If not, we would just go on down the road and boondock in a casino parking lot for one night before heading on home. Surprise!…
